If you enable this policy setting, an RDS host server first attempts to locate the license servers that you specify. This policy setting allows you to specify the order in which an RDS host server attempts to locate Remote Desktop license severs. Use the specified Remote Desktop license servers RDS Licensing Group Policy Settings Setting The Horizon 7 RDS group policy settings are installed in the Computer Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Remote Desktop Services > Remote Desktop Session Host > Licensing folder. Once deleted, exit the registry and reboot the server.The RDS Licensing group policy settings control the order in which RDS license servers are located, whether problem notifications are displayed, and whether Per User or Per Device licensing is used for RDS Client Access Licenses (CALs). Now, right click and delete the GracePeriod key( ‘REG_BINARY’ ). – Under Change owner to, click the new owner, and then click OK. – Click Advanced, and then click the Owner tab. – Right Click on GradePeriod Key to take ownership of. You must take ownership and give admin users full control to be able to delete GradePeriod key. If the ‘GracePeriod’ key exists you will need to delete it.ģ. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\RCM\GracePeriod as shown in below window and select the GracePeriod Key. Login to the server and open Registry by typing regedit.exe in Run or cmd prompt.(please note that this should be opened as Administrator.Ģ.
